Fall is finally here, and all of us here at Pink Elephant Party & Tent Rentals agree that carving pumpkins is one of our favorite spooky pastimes! What better way to enjoy this fun activity than by throwing a pumpkin-carving party for family and friends? This is a great activity kids and adults alike can enjoy together.
One of the best ways to get guests excited for your ghoulish event is with fun invitations that really set the mood. Try making your own for a personalized touch and see just how creative you can get with the Halloween or Harvest theme! Customized pumpkins or characters like goblins and witches would be a fun way to make each guest feel special and welcome. Let everyone know whether or not you’ll be providing the pumpkins. If not, it would be a good idea to include a few tips on how to pick out a good one.
First, you’ll need to set up your space. We have several options for table rentals that are ideal for a pumpkin carving station. Premade templates are also very easy to find and helpful for kids to use. Try making categories for carvers to win prizes for, like most creative or spookiest, or even festive pumpkin for a little fun competition.
Fall themed drinks and snacks are the perfect finishing touch. Some of our favorite recipes include eyeball deviled eggs, witches broom breadsticks, and cauldron punch surrounded by dry ice to give off a menacing vibe of potions and creepy concoctions.
